How it Works

This device emits an ultrasound at only 25KHZ which it cannot be heard by the human ear. It reaches up to 50 feet which is perfectly safe for humans and completely harmless for dogs too! Compared to a dog shock collar, this device will grab your dogs’ attention without hurting your dog and your dog will eventually learn to associate the bad behavior with the ultrasound, forming a conditioned reflex.

Directions

1. Point your device directly at the dog or cat and always outstretch your arm from an approximate distance of 6 feet away. (effective up to approx. 50 feet)
   2. Give the verbal command, then immediately press the button for one or two seconds.
   3. Repeat steps one and two until your pet responds to your commands. 

Training Advice

1. Always use the device with a verbal command for your dogs to associate with. Please make sure you say your command first to get your dog's attention.
2. When you first start using the device, closely observe your dog’s reaction to it. You should be in a protected area like your own yard. The protected area should not be a cage, crate or kennel.
3. Each dog can have a different reaction to the device. Reactions can vary from a dip of the head, shaking the head, whining, to excessive barking.
4. In the event of an extreme reaction or aggression, wait until your dog calms down before approaching it.
5. It is important for the training process to be interactive. Once you used the device on your dog and stopped the unwanted barking, you should reward him with a treat or a praise.
6. If your dog shows no response, it is because it does not understand the meaning of the sound wave. The training should be repeated 5-6 times for at least a few weeks for results to be evident.
7. This device is not effective on dogs who are hearing impaired. We recommend using it on dogs above 6 months and under 8 years.
